I'm back--sorry for the long delay. Much is happening, and much has been happening--some personal, some professional, and almost everything good. I've never gone such a long time without posting to THE BRO-LOG, so there's much to catch up on.

My friend and colleague Gwen Becker pointed out to me how this brilliant poem by South African writer Mazisi Kunene could be read not only in a voice of defiance, but of profound ambivalence.
